Candace is Anishinaabe and a member of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. She was born and raised in Sarnia where she works as a Math Professor at Lambton College. Candace is a passionate advocate for workers and serves as Vice President for OPSEU Local 125. In the community, Candace was a board member for the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre Sarnia-Lambton for 13 years, serving as Treasurer. She has been a member of the UNDRIP Working Group for the City of Sarnia since 2017.
